Apply now: registration for the summer 2017 program is open. "Majors" are available to students of all skill levels: the application process does not require an audition or portfolio. The Admissions Office will begin sending admission decision announcements in October. The admission decision process will continue for each of the majors until they are filled.
Application and Required Items
To apply, complete our three-step application process. Step one: fill out the form below and submit. Step two: write a personal narrative story based on a provided prompt question. This serves to show the admissions committee something memorable and unique about who you are. Step three: create a work of art that represents your story.
Step One: Application form
Step Two: Narrative Story
Prompt: write a personal narrative story that vividly depicts a time in your life when you departed from your ordinary world, experienced some trials or a crisis, and ultimately learned a lasting truth about yourself, life, or human nature.
Your submission should be 500-1200 words long.
The quality of your personal narrative will be judged based on this criteria.
You will submit your personal narrative using Turnitin.com.
Step Three: Visualization
Finally, create an Illustration that depicts a single, specific moment from your story in great detail. Use techniques like shading or coloring to give the image depth. Your image should fill an entire piece of paper with little white space remaining.
